VISITA ALLA MOSTRA DEL CERESA - VISIT AT THE EXHIBITION OF CERESA - BESUCH ZUR AUSSTELLUNG VON CERESA

ESPOSIZIONE a NOVEGRO 13-15/4/2012 - AUSSTELLUNG IN NOVEGRO - EXHIBITION IN NOVEGRO

April 2012 stellte C.K.I.

- Oronzo Mazzotta und Inge Lanznaster, Demonstration von Emaillierung;
- Antonio Migliozzi, Demonstration von Goldschmidt;
- Master Roberto Gioia, Demonstration von Meißel auf Silber- und Kupfer-  Bas-Relief;

From 13th to 15th April 2012, C.K.I. Italy exhibited in Novegro in the context of the Brocantage and Milano 900 Expos. Thanks to the president of the Park, we had at our disposal an exhibition area in a well-trafficked place of transition between two pavilions of the market exhibition. The majority of our members took part in the exhibition and some of them have contributed with demonstrations to the visitors:

- Oronzo Mazzotta and Inge Lanznaster, enameling demonstration;
- Antonio Migliozzi, goldsmith demonstrations;
- Master Chiseler Roberto Gioia, chisel on silver and copper bas-reliefs demonstration;
- Attilio Compagnoni, private collection exhibition.

The purpose of the event was to let the fire arts and the C.K.I. association known to the many people present, both as exhibitors and visitors: this objective has been partially achieved. Nevertheless the potential sale of works has been minimal. Lots of information has been asked by the visitors.

Can we do something more? What can we do? We will deal with this at the next meeting on May 19th.
In my opinion, I think we should prepare large posters and photos with a concise description of the different techniques. We should also realize that the objects which are sold the most are the little ones, especially those with some of usefulness: the artists should produce also little objects for exhibition and sale, not just works of art.

SABATO 18 FEBBRAIO 2012 - SAMSTAG 18. FEBRUAR - SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18TH

A group of 20 people, both artists and respective companions had the chance to visit the Treasure of the Cathedral of Monza and the so-called “Iron Crown”. The very good tour guide Mrs. Radelli showed and explained us not just the “enameled treasures”, but also characteristic areas of Monza Centre. We wholeheartedly thank the guide and in particular Oronzo Mazzotta who generously organized this event.
